Acceptance of Terms

Before full use of RivalCrest, the in-game legal onboarding requires you to take an explicit ACCEPT AND CONTINUE action agreeing to the current version of these Terms and acknowledging the Privacy Policy. If the Terms version changes, the game requires a new acceptance. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, meet the minimum age required to use RivalCrest in your country, and be legally able to enter into these Terms. The in-game age gate requires your explicit confirmation and does not collect a full date of birth. RivalCrest does not offer a parental-consent process. If you cannot make that confirmation, do not continue.

Beta Status

RivalCrest is a beta product under active development. Features, balance, content, progression, rankings, rewards, prices, and technical requirements may change. Beta data may be corrected, migrated, or reset when reasonably necessary for testing, security, balance, or service integrity.

Expect bugs, interruptions, incomplete features, and changes between builds. Feedback is welcome, but submitting feedback does not give you ownership of changes or ideas later used in the service.

Access to RivalCrest

You may access the web game through the official RivalCrest website or install an Android APK obtained from an official RivalCrest source. You are responsible for a compatible device, internet connection, and carrier or network charges. Do not redistribute altered builds or present an unofficial build as an official release.

Player Accounts

Online features automatically use an anonymous player account and a session stored on your device. You are responsible for protecting access to that device and session. Loss or clearing of local data may affect your ability to recover the anonymous account.

You can permanently delete your anonymous RivalCrest account through DELETE ACCOUNT in Settings. The authenticated flow requires two confirmations and removes or anonymizes account data as described in the Privacy Policy. Clearing local data, uninstalling the app, or unlinking a wallet alone does not delete the account.

Player Content and Clan Chat

Display names, clan names and descriptions, and clan messages are player-provided content. You remain responsible for content you submit and must have the rights needed to submit it. You grant RivalCrest the limited permission needed to store, transmit, display, and technically process that content for the relevant game feature.

Player content must not violate or promote violation of law; facilitate illegal or age-restricted activity; exploit or endanger children; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; contain pornography or sexually explicit material; promote prostitution; contain hate speech, threats, harassment, or incitement to violence; promote self-harm or dangerous activity; make harmful or misleading health claims; impersonate a person or organization; falsely claim affiliation; create deceptive or confusing content; distribute malicious code; facilitate unauthorized access, security circumvention, or cheating; or contain spam or another form of abusive or offensive material.

Clan Chat lets you privately report another player's message for harassment, hate or abuse, spam, cheating or scams, inappropriate content, or another safety concern. Duplicate reports are limited and reports may be reviewed by trusted RivalCrest operators. Do not misuse reporting tools or submit knowingly false reports.

You can block another clan-chat player to hide that player's messages only for you, and manage blocked players in Settings. A block does not remove either player from the clan or affect progression. RivalCrest may review reports, remove or hide content, restrict features, suspend access, or take other proportionate action when content violates these Terms, threatens safety or service integrity, or must be addressed by law.

To appeal a moderation action or report a safety issue that cannot be handled in the game, use MODERATION APPEAL in Settings or contact Sup_rivalcrest@outlook.fr. A report, block, or appeal does not guarantee a particular outcome, but it will be available to the applicable safety process.

Acceptable Conduct

You must not harass other players, impersonate another person, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, exploit bugs for an unfair advantage, or use RivalCrest in violation of applicable law.

You must not use cheats, bots, automation, modified clients, unauthorized scripts, account or matchmaking manipulation, or other tools that alter gameplay, rewards, purchases, or service traffic. Do not abuse or distribute serious exploits.

Competitive Gameplay and Fair Play

Matchmaking, trophies, rankings, rewards, and battle outcomes are determined through RivalCrest systems. RivalCrest may review or correct results, remove improperly obtained rewards, invalidate matches, or restrict competitive access when needed to address cheating, abuse, technical errors, or security incidents.

Connection quality, latency, device performance, and beta changes can affect play. Competitive modes do not guarantee a particular opponent, result, rank, reward, or uninterrupted match.

Purchases and Optional Wallet Features

Current builds include optional Phantom wallet linking and support USDC purchases when the server-side shop is configured. Review the item, amount, destination, and wallet prompt before approving a transaction. Blockchain transactions may be public and irreversible, and third-party wallet, RPC, or network terms and fees may apply. Never provide RivalCrest with a private key or recovery phrase.

In-game currencies, rewards, chests, cards, and other virtual content are licensed for use within RivalCrest. Except where the service explicitly states otherwise, they have no cash value and may not be sold, transferred, or exchanged outside the service.

Availability

RivalCrest may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the beta, including online features and support for older builds. The service, a feature, or player data is not guaranteed to remain available. Install updates only from an official RivalCrest source.

Updates

The web game may update when the hosted build changes. The Android app can receive signed live-update bundles from RivalCrest infrastructure. An update may be required to continue using online features, and incompatible or insecure builds may be refused.

Intellectual Property and License

RivalCrest, including its software, artwork, characters, music, text, designs, logos, and other content, is owned by RivalCrest or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the current service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of RivalCrest or authorize copying, selling, reverse engineering where prohibited by law, or creating derivative commercial services from RivalCrest content.

Third-Party Services

RivalCrest uses or links to Supabase, Render, Vercel, Cloudflare, Phantom, Solana network infrastructure, Discord, and X for the functions described in the Privacy Policy. Their own terms and policies apply to their services. RivalCrest does not control their availability or independent conduct.

Solana Mobile dApp Store

For any copy of RivalCrest obtained through the Solana dApp Store, these Terms are an end-user agreement solely between you and RivalCrest. Solana Mobile Inc., its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, suppliers, and licensors (the "Solana Mobile Parties") are not parties to these Terms and have no responsibility or liability for RivalCrest, these Terms, or any breach of them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Solana Mobile Parties make no representation or warranty concerning RivalCrest or the Solana dApp Store program, which are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis with all faults. All express, implied, and statutory warranties are disclaimed, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Solana Mobile Parties will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, consequential, incidental, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, use, profits, or revenue, arising from RivalCrest or the Solana dApp Store program, even if advised of the possibility. Your sole remedy against the Solana Mobile Parties is to stop using RivalCrest and the Solana dApp Store program, and their aggregate liability will not exceed US$10. Nothing in this section excludes a right or liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited.

Suspension or Termination

RivalCrest may restrict or terminate access, remove player-provided content, correct rewards, or limit features when these Terms are violated, service integrity or safety is at risk, or action is required by law. You may stop using RivalCrest at any time and may use DELETE ACCOUNT in Settings to remove or anonymize account data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Terms that by their nature should continue after access ends, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, and liability provisions, remain in effect.

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RivalCrest is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. RivalCrest does not guarantee that the beta will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device, or that progress and results will never be lost or changed. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RivalCrest and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from the service, including loss of data, progress, access, or opportunity. Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

RivalCrest may update these Terms as the beta develops. The revised Terms will be posted here with a new last-updated date. Continuing to use the service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them where permitted by law.
